It is often out of difficulties that miracles grow, albeit in January 2006 Anna and Andy Collier might not have believed that. On the 6th of January Anna was rushed into Chelsea and Westminster hospital where her three little babies were delivered prematurely at 29 weeks, weighing just 2lbs each. This was the beginning of the greatest challenge that the couple have ever faced; watching their babies fight for their lives for 101 days in hospital. Today Anna and Andy stand proud parents of their triplets; Isabel, Emily and Ben, who are healthy, happy and full of life and regarded by all who know them as the three little miracles.

What does the Fund do?

It was Anna and Andy's wish to set up a fund specifically to help other babies receive the best possible care when born sick and premature. The on-going aim of the charity is to continue to raise funds to purchase specialised equipment for Neo-Natal Intensive Care Units across the country.
By the end of 2009, The 3 Little Miracles Fund has purchased £250,000 worth of vital intensive care equipment for the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital (where the triplets' lives were saved). This equipment includes 3 surgical incubators, 4 ventilators and a state of the art travel incubator which will allow very sick babies to be transported between hospitals via ambulance or air ambulance. The Charity has now donated 2 x £25,000 surgical incubators to the Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit at Northampton General Hospital.

How will my donation help?

Your donations go directly to purchase medical equipment such as infant/paediatric ventilators; surgical/non-surgical incubators and other vital life saving Neo-Natal Intensive Care equipment. Many neonatal charities spend their charitable donations on education and research, but donations to the 3 Little Miracles Fund will be spent directly on equipment to help save babies lives. There are no administrative costs associated with the running of the Charity, so every penny raised go towards helping saving the lives of sick and premature babies.
