Our Patron

“I am delighted to accept the position of Patron of the Three Little Miracles Fund; a charity set up to help babies in the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital receive the best possible care when born sick or prematurely.

As a father myself I know first hand the joy that having a family brings and I shudder at the thought of not being able to take pleasure in this part of my life that I now often take for granted.

I have been immensely lucky in my career as an international rugby player and now as a businessman in that I have traveled the world, stayed at luxury locations and met important people from all walks of life but none of this compares to the happiness that my family brings me. I can only imagine the pain that Andy and Anna must have endured when Isabel, Emily and Ben were born prematurely weighing little over 2lbs each and the anguish they must have endured as parents as they watched their three little babies fight for their lives in hospital for over three and a half months.

It is with pride and honour that I take on the role as Patron of The Three Little Miracle Fund. I cannot think of a more worthy cause to be involved in and I wish Andy and Anna every success with their marathon fund raising over the coming months.”
